My
wife convinced me to use this picture... you know, for
credibility's sake... to show how long you've been active
in writing and performing... Sounded good at the time,
but now that I'm looking at this picture, I'm not so sure
she wasn't just saying that to get me to embarrass myself.
Alas, here it is.
That's me, second from left.
Moving on... check out my remixes and other musical creations
below. All done by me except where noted.
Linkin
Park vs. Disturbed - The More Stupified Mashup
- mp3
This is by far my most popular mash. I've found
other people using it in their videos on YouTube
and I've gotten countless requests for it. I produced
an accompanying video with ephemeral footage, and
it's included below. There's also an earlier version
of this mashup where the Disturbed section is shorter.
It's floating around on the web somewhere... if
anybody finds it, please send it to me. Enjoy!
Ashanti
vs. Mya - Only U and the Ex - mp3
This was the first mashup I ever did (or at least
the first one I'll claim credit for, I wouldn't
let anybody hear my first attempts). The first time
I heard Ashanti's "Only U", it wasn't
even finished playing when I realized it was the
same chord progression as Case of the Ex. The similiarity
shows.
Missy
Elliott vs. Kyper - Lose Control (X's and O's Mashup)
- mp3
I like this one since Kyper is one of my favorite
tracks from when I was spinning in the clubs, waaaaayyyyy
back in '90-'91. Unfortunately I couldn't find a
high enough quality copy of Tic Tac Toe, so this
bit-rate is the best I could do.
Nelly
- Grillz (Violet Says 5 Mashup) - mp3
This one is a bit of a strange one. Violet Says
5 were an indie act in about 2005, and the rock
background was taken from their song called "Gone,
Gone, Gone".
